Thank you for your interest in the geekCombat Affiliate Program. This notecard will give you all the information you need to sell geekCombat products.

What is the geekCombat Affiliate Program all about?
The geekCombat Affiliate Program gives you an opportunity to sell geekCombat products for a 20% commission. In other words, if you were to sell a gkill HUD I would make 200L$ and you would make 50L$. That's a pretty good deal - all you have to do is keep a vendor placed in world (or sell person to person) and you will make decent earnings.

How to get started
If you have not yet obtained your geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Kit, fill in the form below and click "Send Kit" to be sent a geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Kit. Please allow a minute or two for delivery.

If all goes well, you will be sent the latest version of the geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Kit. You may want to join the “geekCombat Affiliates” group so you can keep up with any important information that may become available in the future.

To prevent spam, you can only register and be sent a geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Kit once. If you loose your kit you must send Madgeek Nixdorf a notecard with a request for another one.

Unpacking your kit
Once you have received your kit rez it on the ground. Each time the kit itself is rezzed it will check for a newer version of the kit, and send it to you if one is found. Your vendors, once rezzed, will also check for new versions of the kit every day.

Now, click the kit. Do NOT use the “Pie Menu>Open>Copy to Inventory” method, this will copy unnecessary scripts to your kit folder and cause objects to be named incorrectly. Two “blue boxes” will appear - accept both.

Find the newly created “gC Affiliate Kit v5.01” folder in your inventory. It contains 3 items:
-geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Large
-geekCombat Affiliate Vendor Small
-geekCombat Affiliate Information (this notecard)

Using your new vendors
There are two vendors in your kit folder. These vendors have the same products in them, however they are different sizes. Whatever size you choose is personal preference. Rez (place) the vendor you want on the ground and click “Grant” on the payment permissions box that pops up. No, the vendor is not going to steal your money... this is so I can be paid for my percentage of the sale. Now all you have to do is position the vendor, and you are all set!

Dealing with delivery failure
Sometimes due to lag and communication problems a delivery from the server after a purchase may fail. If this happens please send your customer to my headquarters in Oppeano. There, in the form of a floating orange sphere, they will find my “Delivery Failure Recovery System”. To reclaim a lost or failed delivery, all they have to do is click this orange sphere. If there are still problems, please ask your customer to send me a notecard with the details of their purchase.

Terms Of Use
By operating a geekCombat Affiliate Vendor you agree to abide by the following terms of use. Failure to do so will result in your termination from the geekCombat Affiliate Program.

• You may not operate a geekCombat vendor on any parcel of land that is owned by Madgeek Nixdorf or geekCombat, nor may you operate a geekCombat vendor on any parcel of land that you do not own that already has a geekCombat vendor on it.
• You may not operate a geekCombat vendor in any manner that defames geekCombat or Madgeek Nixdorf.
• You must report any misuse of a geekCombat vendor to Madgeek Nixdorf. If you become aware of any way that a geekCombat vendor has been or can be hacked to change its intended manner of operation, this must be reported to Madgeek Nixdorf.
• It is forbidden to use a geekCombat vendor to obtain free products, give free products to other people, change the intended purchase price of a product, change the amount of commission that is paid, or alter the intended operation of a geekCombat vendor in any manner. If misuse is detected, you will be reported to Linden Labs as well as terminated from the geekCombat Affiliate Program.
• Madgeek Nixdorf reserves the right to terminate any affiliate from the program at any time for any reason.
